Peer review

In the first read we can appreciate that the article is well structured and has a concept precision and specification allowing to the reader to get the correct idea quickly without many readings of the same paragraph.

The subjects are consistent with the conclusions means the writing of the text is coherent and cohesive, we can see this if we pay attention to the way people learn, some important things about the language encourage by tasks and other exercises and at the end of the article the author says that besides the improvement that means this technique “is still in its infancy”

One of the main issues of the text is that the extension is really short so it has some holes in the information specifically for an ignorant reader, maybe the writer could use some more words to expose the ideas or with more examples, they could give a better picture of what is planted on the article.

In the 6^th paragraph the writer uses way too many paraphrases so it makes the paragraph itself hard to read because it requires that the reader go for another paper to fully understand this article.

Getting closer and closer

At the beginning of this semester I wasn't very happy with the fact that I had to assist to English classes, not because I don't like English as a matter of fact I really like it and, actually I consider myself good at it since I’m really young you know. But, Since the very first class that I assisted, I felt really comfortable, I know I’m not the perfect student but in here I think that I’m learning better than a regular and boring class, this aspect I recognize that Miss Rosa is the guilty one cause in one hand she is really pro at the language but more important than that, in the other hand she gets us not like other regular teachers, she really cares about us and our efficient learning. 

Outside the classroom I use a lot of English especially with my brother cause we really like the language and we get the jokes and everything so it's quite fun screaming at each other things like "DUDE" (that’s how we call each other). But the thing that makes me love English is to be able to understand it fluently, so for me is really easy to understand the lyrics, and you should know I really like to sing and I use a lot of my ability to sing in both languages English and Spanish.

I really want to learn 2 more languages one of them is French and the other one is the Sign language. And I wish that I could be able to choose as teacher as awesome as my English teacher

Holydaysssss

I'm thinking about going to the south of Chile, specifically to Niebla in Valdivia with my best friends, they are both named Cristobal so I call them by their last names. We were thinking about going on there on winter holidays because we really love cold weather, we would stay at one of my friends' uncle´s house who is really young almost like us he is the youngest brother of my friend's mom, so we know we'll have a really nice time there. We are going there because we want to make music, so we know that in Niebla we will find inspiration, and at the same time lot of fun. We are going to juggle in the traffic lights and the squares to earn money if we need it so in terms of how prepared we are economically we are just fine. 

We thought about this trip while we were chatting drinking beer, and we really love the idea and we are almost ready to go, the only fact is that we don't know yet who will have to do final exams, and we want to be there for about 3 weeks or something like that. I and my 2 friends are studying really hard to get exempted of the Final Exams so we can have more days of vacations and enjoy the hell of these holidays. The title of the so called album that we are going to make while we are there in Niebla is called "Mist of Shadows" but it’s only an idea it could change in the trip obviously.

                                                                      

House of Cards

As my English teacher, I don't really watch too much TV, in fact I avoid it cause I think it is a political weapon to control and misinform the population. But my brother once told me about this TV series called HOC that means House of Cards, after a few weeks way too busy with my studies I decided to watch this thing. My brother walked into my bedroom at about 11am he asked me how many chapters I 've watched and I told him that night I didn't sleep because I've watched the entire first season and he laughed so hard. He did the same exact thing when a friend told him about it. The story is about the life of an ambitious politician Francis Underwood who’s willing to do anything to satisfy his thirst for power. His wife Claire Underwood is also a very influent person who is always as thirsty as him and believe me they are really thirsty. This TV series shows how politics actually are, it is really psych and disgusting in my opinion but it is my favorite series. In 30/05/2017 Netflix will release the fifth season. I´ve been waiting for it for about a year, after that night I've watched each season in like a week I did get a little bit obsessed with it I can tell you that. I don't have a favorite episode I really enojoy watching all of them. When I´m really bored I watch a random chapter. 

PostGraduate Study

I want to keep studying after I graduate from social work specifically because I would be able to teach in the university, I think teaching is real art. maybe I would take a postgraduate study that let me approach to the legal part getting involved with the families of the victim, the victim itself, the family of the accused, etc. maybe, it's like a dream but, I could even study Laws after a year or two of working and traveling, who know what will happen tomorrow?.  I would love to study in other country especially in Cambridge, Columbia, and Harvard. I would not have a problem living in other country for a few years. I mean I could get a job and struggle to finish the carrier everything is possible if you can really want it.  As I said in a later post I love music so I could be able to gain intellectual experience that is fundamental for writing. I don’t know what else to say actually maybe a postgraduate study now is really far away.

about the things i ask myself

I know that I’m studying Social Work but if I can be honest with you, since I was a little kid I really fall in love with writing and music, Living free making music with my homies like we've always done. I imagine a life full of music neither if I get to get paid or not but it will be awesome that gets to it. This carrier that im studying right now will only get me really close to the reality that is the exact place were what we do is represented, music con talk about the cruelty of the system like it can tell you about a great love history. this carrier will make me wiser I think that is very important for the writing and then add some flow to it and you can deliver the message that you want. I never imagine myself working for someone else, the truth is last year I wanted to get my backpack and travel around South America for the entire year but the opportunity jumped up and I couldn’t decline it.

So if someone asks me if I rather have a job in a office, well, I think you can answer that by your own.  I could accomplish two important things for me with this Major carrier mixing it with my passion: first of all I could represent the reality with my music, and in second place I could use this music for make a impact in society by applying it to the activities and research that makes a Social Worker. 

Pseudo-Democracy

If anyone asks me what I think about elections, wow what a media circus. a bunch of politicians lying to everyone telling they will represent us and fight for us and so many other things. I’m gonna vote? of course its my civil right and duty we can completely change the way things get done. politicians are just puppets of the banks and huge company owners and these people use them to have the constitutional protection of their power and money. I have participated in politics since I was in 1st grade in high school when I assumed as Vice-president of the student center, position that lasted until I graduated from high school and I learned that with transparency, honesty and hard work you can really make a change and achieve the unity in the student body. I think that a politician is useless (talking about politics in these times) what the people really need is a leader that will listen and not have only the willingness to work together with the community instead he/she must encourage this discussion spaces, and he or she will never attack with violence and power abuse to their own people like the politicians do in Chile. I think that a new kind of politics is possible with collective work and a lot of love for the humble wish of the well being of the entire population.
